Becoming a Youth Pastor

A number of faith-based universities offer bachelor’s and master’s degrees that focus on youth ministry and train students on how to become a youth pastor. In many cases, these degree programs can be found within a seminary school as a major or as a specialization depending on the school. These degree programs can also be found online through many online Christian colleges.

What exactly do you do as a youth pastor? A youth pastor’s responsibility is to encourage young people to learn more about their own faith and show them how to use that in their every day lives.
